My story

I've been in service to others my entire life.

Long before Rose & Slate had a name. Through twelve years of leading, organizing, and showing up for everyone around me, through real estate, through coaching, through building my own business from scratch, I learned what it means to do the work without being seen for it.

I spent years helping other people build their vision. I was good at it. But somewhere along the way I started asking what it would look like to build something that was completely, unapologetically mine.

My partner Chris saw it before I did. He recognized the gifts I had been using for everyone else and asked me a simple question: what would it look like to use them for yourself?

Rose & Slate is the answer to that question. It is built on everything I know about what makes a business feel like it belongs to the person running it, and everything I have learned about what keeps it from getting there.

I built this for you. And I built it for the version of me who needed it too.
